Found a new 2001 cannibal
#11
Is this dealer up around Sterling, VA. If so, I almost bought that quad. They said they where never actually became a dealer but Cannondale had sent them the Cannibal as a demo. I had a deposit on it and was going to pick it up when the deal started getting ugly. They told me that they had not and where not going to install any of the recall items but would give me the parts. They also could not find the title paperwork and would not warranty the quad. Better check on all this so you don't get screwed.

Yeah, Im sure its the same dealer. The whole thing sounds REALLY fishy now, think I'll just stay away. Im wondering if it is even a demo, or is it just one that some idiot traded in. Doesnt sound like a very trust worthy dealer.

If it is the same one that dealer is really flaky, in January they told me the quad was in the crate and they where shipping it back to Cannondale.
I just saw there is a new dealer in Amherst, you should check them out. I drove to Durham, NC for my Speed.

When they designated that trail system up there years ago, my Father and I were the first ones to open Taskers gap up and "ride" our quads through it. I had a 250 Mojave and he a 300 Bayou, we basically had to carry the quads across the huge boulders. After that our ATV club at the time spent 2 or 3 weekends busting rocks in Taskers gap to make the trail somewhat passable (it remains the same today). I have been through there dozens of times on everything from a TW200 2-wheeler to a 250R 4-wheeler. Back in 1989,90 and 91 we would be up there every Friday night riding the rocks.
