It's on the inside of the female connector, go to:

and click on tech tips, scroll down and they show a closeup of the connector, it's inside that connector.

how in the hell are you supposed to be able to tell if it has swelled or not. how do you fix it? I did notice my fuel pump making noises last week before the stalling started. By the way it only stalles if im going up a slight uphill and tapping the trottle "tap, tap, tap" you get the point when I do that it dies hard and fast. Thanks for the quick replies fellas.

Mynewcannondale,
Have you replaced the fuel filter? Usually if the pump is making noise the first thing to check is the fuel filter. Also make sure both lines to the tank are connected. I haven't heard of that many swelling O-rings. Most of the time people that have this problem are running race fuel.

It really depends on the engine. An efficient combustion chamber design is key to running high compression ratios on pump gas. With the Cannondale 92 Octane pump gas is fine. On the Cannondales depending on what race fuel you use you could actually lose HP. Some race fuels require a new map.
