cannondale dealers in oklahoma

where did you all get your c-dales? I am still trying to sell my 400ex and I was wondering where you all got your cannondales. also what was the otd price, and do you reccommend the dealer or not? If I would get a cannondale it would be a speed or cannibal. if you got the speed was it worth the extra cash? how are they as an all around quad? I ride some trails, jump alot, ride in sand alot, how are they suited for that? thanx for the input, jon

Jon,
I can't help you on the dealers. I got the Speed, here's why:
1. Higher Rev.
2. Better shocks (now)
3. Hyrolic (SP) clutch.
4. Better Tires
5. Fewer of them around
6. Silver and Yellow Plastic
7. The dealership only had one Speed, one Moto, and one Blaze.
8. Didn't want to speed the money for a Blaze.

thanx for the input. how will it feel coming from a 400ex? also how is it sized. I am like 6'even or so and 220lbs. will it feel small? I will go to a dealership and try one out, but i want opinions. what kind of otd price did you all get? also what kind of maintenance does it take? I ride alot jumps, sand, etc. how often do you have to change oils, plugs etc.?
briansgi, if you go to little saharas' dealership what do you have to have to have for them to let you test one of their cannondales? drivers license, etc? do you have to put a deposit or anything like that down? i might be heading to ls next weekend and i would like to test one. thanx jon

The power difference between the C'dale and the 400EX is like night and day. The c'dales just keep pulling and keep pulling, especially if you get moto map. The C'dale's frame geometry is copied off the 250R so it's feel is going to be comparable to the 400EX except the C'dales shocks are better, especially if you get one with the Ohlin shocks. I'm not a good one to ask the OTD price for my Cannibal, I bought an FX400 last year and had some problems that Honda of Tulsa could not resolve and Cannondale gave me a Cannibal. But I don't think any of the dealers in Oklahoma are haggling much on their prices unfortunately. Sounds like trying to get one of the refurbished units would be the thing to do. Call Don at LS and ask about riding their moto. I'm sure if you are of legal age, they won't have any problems with you test riding it. I know other people who have.
