Well guys you all saw my last thread entitled "My Cannondale beats me to Death" well today I took Ohlins advice and removed the shocks to see if there where any binding in the A-Arms and there definetly was. I could pick the A-Arm up and it would pretty much stay in any position I moved it too...this was with the tire mounted. I removed the A-arms and cleaned up all the bushings with some scotchbrite then lubed them up with some marine grease and reinstalled everything and now there is no binding. With no binding the front end still seems stiff but not half as bad as before. I don't like the bushing setup at all..........Does anyone know what the bushings are made of??? Nylon?? Plastic??? I think oil inpregnated bronze bushings are much better. When I took the bushings apart there was plastic or Nylon chunks stuck all over the bushing spacers which was probably causing the binding.

Hmm, if someone can get me some measurements(ID, OD, FLG OD, FLG THK, OAL)of the bushings, I'll match them up to a standard Powder Metal bushing. (aka oil impreg bronze). I'm a sales engineer at a Powder Metal plant and I have access to any of the standard sizes. I can hook us all up...

Sweet, I'll have to look up the part numbers and see if the dimensions are listed.

Did you download the manual JVC?
