I wanted to pass on some information about the fuel filters for anyone that doesn't know the equivalent to the Fram G4164. Napa has their "Gold" series fuel filter as a replacement for the Fram, their part number is 3011. I had to find out that this regular maintainence item isn't stocked as a regular item at my local dealer, so Napa came to the rescue........FYI.........JIM

 

Great and it should be cheaper too.

Another thing about this Napa filter is that it is manufactured by Wix which I have been told is supposed to be better than the Fram. I bought two of these Napa filters last Saturday after I went to some parts stores and did some cross referencing. I got mine for $2.49 a piece.

 

O'Reilly's sells the Fram fuel filter for $2.09.

 

I've been buying a Pro/Guage filter identical to the Fram for $.93 !! from my country hardware store.
I change it more often since I found these.
