Dry spindles

I had the clicking problem, The fix was to tighten the chain. It came with over 2 inches of chain slack, i got it at around 1.55 inches now and its silent. No more clicking. The chain slaps the gaurd and clicks.

jcv400ex - Do you think I could just use some high temp, multi purpose grease on the spindles, or is there some kind of special stuff to use?

I used Kendall Super blue grease. I don't think they require a special grease.

I'm tearing my A-Arms apart tonight and going to try to figure out the noise and get some more measurements for the bushings. Freakin raining up here for 3 days....with no sign of relieve until Thursday! I wish it woulda snowed more this past winter! we're really paying for it now...
