Jim,

That's great. It seems like your SPEED is slowly turning into a Moto killer...LOL

Post some pics when you get everything together.

I know all about the wife thing......oh,..I forgot..that's why I am divorced.

Patrick,
I will post as soon as everything comes in. I know some people have had problems with Elka shocks, but when I had mine on the 400ex; they were spot on. Should be here in 3 weeks. I started a web page, has a few pics of me on my 400ex and one of my Speed, will be updating it soon as I get some free time. .......JIM start of web page

So your staying with the Elkas. I hope they work good for ya. Ray hasn't had anytrouble either, so I wouldn't worry.

Good start to the website.....can ya make the pics "en-large-able"? Wow, that's not even a word....but I think you can understand me by now!

What kind of things have you heard about the Elka's? I had considered getting a set the next time I buy shocks. I hadn't heard anything bad untill you guys said something.

I think you will be very happy with Elka. The set up on mine was right on. They set them up for my riding ability, weight and type of racing that I do. I may be wrong but I think thats were people run into problems when ordering custom shocks. They have them set up for a "Bill Balance" ability and not their own.
You could probably get a better price from a dealer rather than ordering direct from Elka. I would post a # but that would be an ad so e-mail me if you would like a phone #
