Put the new seat latch on today, very simple install. It is made by Graydon Proline if any of you are interested. Cost me 49.95 at R&S Performance. It looks a lot like the OMF type for the 400ex.......Also received my metal mesh reusable oil filter. It is made by K&P Engineering and our part # is 2156.

Glad to see you were happy with the seat latch. I'm going to check into them myself and nab a few.

The K&P oil filter is a good one. I know you will be happy with that one.

Keep us posted on future mods.

Jim, stop buying stuff for that thing! I'm tired of hearing about your Elka suspension, a-arms and other trick parts for your fancy-pants Speed and I can't even afford a refurbed Cannibal

LOL...Guy, I really HAD to buy the seat latch and oil filter. I didn't like the way Cannondale had their seat latch going and my **** for it fell off and was lost. The oil filter will save me time and headaches in the future. The Elka shocks and LSR axle will keep me from doing "bicycles" in the corners, no a-arms yet; front wheel spacers while my account digests the recent purchases.
