Cannibal exhaust question?
#11
NittroT,
You can keep the stock mapping and change the exhaust. You will get more HP if you go to the Blaze or Moto map but it depends what kind of ridding you do; if you want a higher rev limit you could go with the Speed map. I used to have a Cannibal with stock mapping and an HMF an it ran great.

Mike, you are right about not HAVING to re-map with an exhaust change, but you do have to change your air/fuel fixture to "jet" according to your conditions whether you change the mapping or not.
Also, while the re-map isn't a neccessity with an exhaust change, it does take full advantage of the pipe addition.
All the Cannondales come stock slightly on the rich side, that's why yours probally ran fine without any changes, but making these changes makes a bigger difference than you might think. Get off of one and onto another and you will see what I mean.
