I have a Speed and it has a decent bit of vibration in the handle bars. Is this normal? If so what can I do to reduce it or eliminate it. I heard of filling the bars with silicone. The reason is I Race GNCC's and at the last one by the last lap I was bearly able to hold on to the handle bars because my hands were sore from the vibrations. Any help would be great, Thanks.

My Cannibal does not vibrate, my FX400 did really bad until all the front end updates were installed. Have you tried another set of front wheels/tires, maybe one of them is severely out of round. When you drive down the street or a very smooth road, do you get the vibration then as well? A steering stabilizer will help and especially one of the steering cones that are now being offered would help but I don't know if the cones are available for the C'dales yet.

the best way to lessen the vibration is to fill the bars up with silicon .
get a calk gun and a tube of silicon and pull off a grip fill it up and put grip back on works like a charm . i do all my bars.

I got razor 6 ply tires up front on carbon fiber rims, plus the hanble bars vibrate when I rev the engine when it's sitting still. So I don't think the rims/tires would have anything to do with. I would love to put a steering stabilizer on it but It's not aloud in the stock 4-stroke class. I'll have to check all the steering bolts and engines mounts I guess to make sure their all tight. I justed wanted to make sure that it's not a standard thing that they all vibrate.

I was thinking about the silicon thing. I'll have to do it this weekend.

Thanks. Any other comments, suggestions, and/or info would be great.

When I picked up my speed, the front left tire had the holes drilled off center caousing an incredible shake. Sit your bike on it's grab bar and spin the front wheels, look for up and down movemnet at the rim. I got a new rim (Warrenty) and now it's gone.

I have Fly Aero Tapers on my machine and they knocked down the vibration factor through my arms alot.

I have a noticable vibration, if I stand next to the bike and rev it up you can see the vibration pretty well through the handlebars, I just got a good set of gloves. I would think 12000 rpm would cause a little shake.

Yeah, I have it too. I know what you mean - it's not from the front end it's from the engine. You can see my bars vibrating too when you rev it. It is kind of annoying. It's a LOT more than I expected. Hopefully someone will make an anti-vibe bar clamp to help.
