It started puking oil? **** disturbed... what kind of person are you?!? You must have hurt his feelings pretty bad... gawd, have a little sensitivity .

1986 - So EFI doesn't improve it's speed or power? I didn't know that. I thought it helped a lot and thats what gave the Dale's the edge over the bigger bore quads, but if EFI doesn't affect it, I have one question. How friggin detuned are those Raptors off the floor?!?

I need to learn more about my quad .

YO- raptors are whimpy stock(my idea) but come to life with a few grand in the motor. Dyno days in aledo june 29th. Be there! Line up on the strip and see how you fare. I have seen/ridden the c-dale so you should be able to hole shot a few of them and mayby hold them off to the finish line. Be there and wear the C-dale banner.

No need to add F/I to the Raptor. Just higher compression and WALA there you have it!

Why would you just add a high comp. piston and nothing else? From what I've read, it needs intake and exhaust work for it to really "awaken".

Air filter, full exhaust, jet kit, 12.1JE piston works well for me.

Disturbed,

I like my TROUT left alone untouched by Raptors Roost. There so others may enjoy. AAHHH, nothing like comming across a wild TROUT and knowing you could have it, but yet not spoiling the illusion that it is untouchable.

LOL

yea disturbed beat me, not once but three times! He kept beating me off the line, and I couldnt catch up. I will say that a piped raptor with an airbox kit is pretty damn fast. IT was fun, and my first time on sand so disturbed has me out experienced!

oh, our race was about 200 or so feet I would say, and it was up a sand hill. I never got past 2nd gear. Started out in first, when we got to the bottom of the hill shifted in to second and pinned it all the way up. I think that if I could have gotten the jump on him at the start I could have won, its all rider, it makes a big difference. There was no starter, so we just looked at each other and revved up and nodded and took off, so whoever nodded first won.
