For those of you who have cannibals with the arvin shocks, do they bottom out easy and how do they perform, generally speaking? I'm getting a dale here pretty quick and I think that that's my deciding factor between the cannibal and speed. jared

They're better then any Japanese stock shock. They are a little harsh in the slow hard packed, but absorb the bigger jumps better.

yeah, the Ohlins probably aren't worth the extra grand. You could buy a cannibal, spend an extra 2 grand and get a set of triple rate, comp. adjustable Elka's all around built to your weight and riding style AND a set of Gibson a-arms from K&K. Or you could buy a Cannibal and spend a few extra hundered $'s on some Elka's or PEP's that are built to your weight and riding style.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll take your advice and go with the cannibal. I will eventually get extended a-arms from a after-market manfuacturer and just have them set up the shocks to go with it and still be cheaper than the speed and that route.
