Things I would change on the stock quad.

1) Gas tank that doesnt spill out the cap (I am waiting for my second replacement from Cannondale, the first replacement leaked as bad as the original)
2) Headlights that dont shine at the sky. I would like to be able to aim them down without illuminating the inside of the plastic, I need the light in front of me. Anyone want to make a bracket that lifts the light 1 inch higher so they can be adjusted into the useful range?
3) No allen screws, I need to carry 50 lbs of tools in the Jeep every time I go riding. Try to keep the number of wrench sizes required to a minimum.
Thats it. Other than those few things I love this machine!

hey as far as getting the dang screw by the radiator i ended up cutting the plastic and made a slotso all i have to do is losten it up and slide it out . i agree about the rear fender seat though it prob would be a bit bulky/heavy then incorperated togther . heck i enjoy the time spent with my quad teading it down once a week to get a bath and polish

I would like to see an easier way to change the spark plug.... thats it. Everything else I can live with, even the bruised knees. And man they are bruised, everytime I ride

Trout - Buy some knee and shin gaurds. They don't restrict your movement any and although they get a little hot, I don't notice it when I'm racing or riding. The only problem that they have given me is that now I will lean in so much that I noticed that the side plastics broke where they bolt up by the radiator, but only on the side where you poor in the oil. But I don't have anymore bruises, and I have also seen a LOT of knee injuries that could have easily been avoided w/ these gaurds. Mine are from O'Neal.

For me it was a toss up between the Cannibal and the Raptor. For me, a couple of the deciding factors were; The radiator is in a low, unprotected and vulnerable position, anyone out there had a rock get roosted through there's yet? It may leave you stranded in a lonely place. (an easy fix though)The battery location and the lack of protection of the wire leads.
If you're a duner no problem, but I ride in the desert mostly. I encounter many snag and impact hazards. I would like to see those two items addressed. The Raptor has a green sticker also, helps me where I live. Other states, it may not be a concern. Overall, I really do like the Dale and would like to get one in the future.

Being able to do valve adjustment without dropping the motor, rumor has it that is how the next generation thumper will be, thank goodness!!
Also, give the consumer choices when it comes to what they want on their quad, shocks, tires/wheels, plastic color, in other words, let us customize it from the factory if we are willing to wait for the factory to build it. I'm still awfully impressed with what this company has done with it's quad lineup in less than 2 years!!

When I was at red bud i saw that Nacs scrteched what looked like navy nylon, from the right side of the radiator around the front above the bumper to the left side of the radiator and it protected it from rocks and stuff like that.

That's the direction I was going in.
Oooops, did I give an aftermarket company an idea that may make them a small fortune by fabricating a perforated aluminum radiator shield that would cost them little to make and they would probably sell for around fifty dollars.
Hhhhmmm....Maybe gaurds for the battery terminal and the leads...
