O'Reilly's carries the fuel filter, it was $2.09.

 

has anyone found a replacement paper oil filter from fram or napa yet? if so i would appreciate the part #. my dealer seems to think they only need one filter on the shelf and i have to order special order mine. one other thing, they said they could not get the metal filter for me from cdale, is that true?

 

Go back and do a search on this topic. Someone posted a while back a part number for an aftermarket filter that had better filtering than even the stock C'dale metal filter. It was not cheap, it seemed like it was over $60 though.

 

I did the search for you, apparently R&S Performance has the metal filters. Apparently being made by K&P, price is around $65.00.

If and when you ever find an aftermarket paper filter, it's going to be pricey. As often as we should be changing oil and filters on our C'dales, the metal filter will end up being alot cheaper to own.

 

Fram is making the paper filter, but has an agreement with Cannondale not to sell retail for x amount of time. Same thing with the air filter from UNI.
