I heard there were some problems with the oiul overflowing and being spit out therough the air filter. Anything else to worry about and how much does it cost to fix the problem?

 

Mine was built 6/01 and i got it 10/01. I wonder if these arent more bug free than some of the new quads!? Problems i've had were with the early chain slides wearing, and a bad coolant resevoir, both fixed with new parts under warranty. I had oil puking out the airbox 1 time and it has'nt recurred. I really think it was from being overfilled. A buddy had his(#78X-02) puke last weekend after a rollover and it was way overfilled! I've raced it against 2 new 'dales in the last month and was only a step behind both of them, so I haven't lost much power if any. Great quad!
