I know there has been alot of discussion on this forum about battery issues, charging problems, etc. In bulletin 08, on page 4, it tells you what the battery voltage should be. At 3000 RPM, the voltage should be between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. I find it interesting the next bit of information it notes that extended idling can cause the battery voltage to drop!! That tells me the charging system is not quite as robust as it probably needs to be. All the more reason to keep trickle chargers on those batteries!!
