Cool. I bought a new Speed back in April. I've been racing it in the Gncc's. It's 10 times better than my 91 quadracer. Haven't did much to it since I'm running the stock class. Nerf bars, carbon fiber rims, T2 bars, hand guards, and misc little things that I can change and still run the stock class. I'm just looking to get rid of the 91 so I can look for a good back-up quad for next season. That's why I was asking about the moto, even though I would rather have a blaze. Well good luck with your speed. Keep us posted on how you do if you plan on racing it.

I've actually got a referb Cannibal and a tricked out 400EX.

I race the EX in state level HS events and will probably hit a GNCC and the 12 hrs of America race this year. I also flat track the 400 (with a completely different setup of course).

The Cannibal is a play quad at the moment. I love it so far.

My stepfather bought the moto/speed so he could hit some flat track events with me (and since he was addicted after racing my Cannibal at the flat track once). He dominated his class last weekend on it and it was basically his first ride. We used the Speed front shocks (since they're 16" and the Moto arms are designed for 19" shocks), a ZPS spring set on the rear and a set of Hoosiers.

Not sure what the fate of my Cannibal is going to be yet. I may widen it out and make an MX machine out of it, or I just may keep it basically stock and just keep it as a play quad.

I'd love to try it in a Harescramble, but hate to go out and pound the crap out of it when I've already got the 400EX setup to do that.

lt250r91,

Your salesman isn't "up to snuff" on his knowledge of the Cannondale line-up.

The dealer cost of a Blaze is a helluva lot higher than $6800.00

All dealers have the same dealer cost as well regardless of how many units they sell or don't sell.

yeah, yeah, yeah you can never believe a salesman. There has to be a good mark up for the dealer to stay in business. It not like most of them sell 5 units a day.

Knowsalot,

I understand that and I know there is no way that he can sale it for that new. I just couldn't believe that he would even say something like that. I bet what it is, they advertise that price and then add shipping, set up, and other bull crap charges to get it up to the $10,500. It's just a trick to get you in there or something like that. Does matter I all ready have a speed and His in Cal. and I'm in Ohio so there is no way I would buy from him anyway. Just price checking that's all.

I race local HS and the GNCC's. I too plan on being at the 12 hour race. Maybe I'll see you at one of the GNCC. Just look for a speed in the stock 4-stroke class. I think I'm the only speed that races the class, the other dales are all canibals. Goodluck to you and your stepfather.

Hey 1986atc250r, So that bad Cannon was another entry from your guy's camp. I left right after you won for the second time and I was wondering if you would have to race him. From what I could see he was half tracking the Raptors and other quads in his class. When my oldest son gets a little bigger he will difinetly be on a Dale. He didn't do to bad for his first time out and hopely when we get him on something a little better for racing he will do even better. Problem is my youngest is wanting to start racing a mini now. I think next year is going to be an expensive year at the track. LOL

These guys are right around the corner from me in Costa Mesa Ok about 12 miles away. I stopped in and talk to them once. They are also a KTM dealership. They move alot of cloths and stuff caause they give everybody and their brother discounts. If any body wants this thing checked out, Let me know. That's if you want to buy it, I'm not just driving down there for my health.LOL

I do know somebody that said they where good for parts, bad for service, no first hand knowledge, Trinity is just as close. When I talked to them about a remap they had just got the software and the guy that was going to do it said, "Don't worry I'm an Enginer, I'll figure it out." I left in a cold sweat.LOL That was two months ago.

Yep, that was from our camp... He also won his main by a good margin after you left. Can't wait to see what difference putting the Moto pipe on makes. It's already faster than my Cannibal.

He's in a different class, so I don't run against him, but he's been talking a lot of crap ever since the last race about coming into my class and whooping up on me. I told him he'd need all the HP advantage he could get....

I may bring the Cannibal along with the 400 next weekend and run against him in his class.

I've also got a little brother (8yr old) who raced for the first time that weekend. We really need to get him a decent machine or get that Badger up to par, it's got issues.
