I jsut talked to the guy on this quad. He said it is for sale for that price. The only thing is it is a demo quad. Dana Creech tested it in so freestyle show. If interested in any of cannondale quads call them. the salesman said the blaze sell for about $6800, but he doesn't have any. I didn't ask about the other ones.

If it was a demo quad and used in freestyle show it is probably pretty beat up, but on the other hand it is a Cannondale.

Still 6k for a $12,500 quad that's a deal. Plus the salesman said it had carbon fiber rims on it. He said he had 2 but already sold one.

The ad says "$1000 off of MSRP". Sounds like they are selling a new Speed and the just have the wrong picture and verbiage... Deals that sound too good to be true, usually are...

We almost bought that quad about a week ago. The price is $9999 not $5999.

We would have purchased it but shipping it was going to be a real PITA because they were not really willing to crate it up. We ended up finding another quad that was nearby.

Really, this machine is a good deal at $9999, it's got lots of extras, you get the stuff that was taken off, and was used in the filming of Huevos5.

Here's a link to more info on it.http://www.threebrothersracing.com/m...e_moto440.html

That's what I thought. Then I called and talk to the salesman. And I asked him twice and he said it was a Moto w/ carbon fibers. Dana Creech used it in a freestyle contest that H-bomb film out it Cal. So they are calling it a demo model. I asked him what he come sell a blaze for since I woods race and he said there is no demand out there for them so he does have one, but if he did he would see it at dealer cost ($6800) these are his I have no clue if that is dealer cost for the blaze or not. If you are interested the the prices of the other cannondale machines I would give them a call @ 949-642-0546. Who knows maybe these prices aren't too good to be true. Hey it doesn't hurt to make a phone call does it. Let us all know if any body finds out any prices from them.

We talked to them several times last week and the price was definitely $9999. We had cash in hand and were ready to get it on a Forward air truck to make it by the weekend. Thier lack of willingness to crate it up lost them the sale.

They were happy to deliver it to the shipping company, but wanted to ship it "as is". Couldn't find a trucking company that would take it that way, and couldn't find anyone that would crate it at a halfway reasonable cost.

The quad has CF wheels, CF side panels, quadtech seat cover, CF rad shrouds, and is littered with stickers. You also get the beadlock wheels that came off it, however one of the fronts was bent and they didn't know where the other was. Dana Creech rode it in Huevos 5 filming. One rear fender is cracked and is missing the foot guard.

I saw the pictures on their and the 9999 price. Like you said that's a heck of a deal. Too bad you had the problems with the shipping. Their lost right.

So did you buy one else where?

Yes...

The one we got is kinda a strange deal... It's a Speed that's been converted to a moto - but we got all the old speed stuff too (tires, wheels, arms, axle, plastic, etc).

Still missing a few parts, but he's "supposed" to be shipping the rest.
