after riding my ds703 and switching to the speed the ds703 had more arm pulling out of the socket strength. the speed revs so quick and handels so much better I don't need to tell you guys this ,yes I do
this machine is such a pleasure to ride nice point of ballance nice power, stearing is so sweet and the shear weight of the machine does not beat the crap out of you.If I were riding in the dunes and did not have to stear around the trees the ds would be the machine for all other situations I will take the speed.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Is the power of the speed pretty good, I have a stage 2 now. How do you think it will compare. What made you trade? Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I just love the Cannondale. I noticed you are from PA, any chance you are a Steelers fan?

 

This is my impresion of the speed much lighter than the ds the steering is about the same speeds circle is smaller,speed has better tacksion she bites in and goes if you like the ability to lift the frount end at will to get over obstacles or water crossing the speed is the machine for you. did I mention less fitiguing to ride. power to close to call but that frount end coming up will change you mind just push down on thouse bars and hang on. and you are conparing a 703 to a 423
