markvette - Your son races the Pro class and has only been racing since March?!?!?! Man, I've been racing since February and I have just moved up to Intermediate!!!

How long of a drive do yall think it would be for me. Say if I was coming from the Dallas/Fort Worth area? I would like to come down there some time and race against you guys... or atleast watch yall. I don't think I could keep up with yall if yall are racing Pro.

Yea MO,I guss we gona have to pull a James Stuart move on Glenn.Let him pass me then take it right back from him to shut him up,lol.

Yodaddy,it would be awsome if you could come to the race in Fernwood,MS.
Sept 14.
And yes Josh has suprised the heck out all us.He was riding a blaster in March beating raptors and ex'es.Now he is on a dale and he has really
steped up to run with the big dogs.

Our pro class is not what you would see at the Nationals,But there
are some very fast racers on very expensive quads.I would say its more like a National "B" class.

It's roughly 8 hours for you yodaddy. Don't get your panties in a waud about the pro classes here, much like intermediate or novice in the TQRA. Depends wich track and who shows up that week end. But I have seen some incredible riders around here, just far and few in between. Not to take any off josh and specials awsome riding abillity.

LL huh, been there done that. Be prepared for a huge let down. If the worlds crappiest track doesn't get you down, the way they treat any one who isn't pro will. Also bring a dump truck full of money, you'll need it. Not trying to bash the GNC but, it's time to drop LL off the schedule. You'll see.

As far as the flier mark, yah I want it. I'll be home tomorrow to turn the fax machine on.

Got a chit talker aye, every one needs one. Let him talk, it's motovational.

Gaff,You need to get out to Fernwood,Brough Bridge,Rock Hill, and Hammond you will see alot more faster compition then you do in Gonsalis.I am happy if I get in the top five at these tracks in the pro or money class.

This win in Gonsalis was my first this year.I have alot of second and third place finishes this year.

Last year I stayed racing in hammond for the hole year and won all
but one race.I thought I was the man, well when I started racing at all the tracks after the hammond searies I quickly found out I was far from being the man,and I was going to have to eather dump a hole lot of money in my 400Ex or get another quad and ride a lot faster to be competive.

WOW, hold up. I may have said that wrong. Although I have only raced the gonzales and avvondale tracks (avvondale is a no quad track now) I do know there is a bunch of graet quad riders in are area, I just have had very limited exposure to them.

But what I was trying to say is we have no season and it's very lucky to have a full gate at our races. More like an average of 6 quads every week end.

On the other hand what point I was trying to make is, the TQRA is a 8 race season, very good series considered one of the top 4 in the country. They boast a average of 100 quads per race and are on track of a 150 quad average for next year. The southwick series (my home) has a 250 quad average per race and have seen more than 400 entries per race this year. The PA/ohio series is averaging more than 300 quads per race. Where the GNC is getting between 450 and 700 entries per race.

This is what I tried to say, that compittition is rough here at times and at certain tracks but the compatition there is harsh every week. Didn't mean to say we are any lesser.

I also ran some XC this year, but needless to say it was unbelievable on the entries at those races.

Not trying to say anyone is lesser than the other just saying things are far different from here than any where else.

The major difference you'll find while travelling north is we do not have the exposure of track obsticles like many others do. There is a reason that the top riders in the country mostly come from the KY and TN areas. They have the best natural terrain than most to practice and ride on every day. Ohio/PA are the same, natural terrain and wide open practice areas are just every where.

My brother and friends in ohio open thier practice tracks up to the public about 4 times a year. They have attendence of 1000 to 3500 for the weekend.

I just say all this to let you know what I was talking about and to let you know thier is a reason I'm collecting rocks around here, lol.
I know you guys are very good, your past week ends results have bummed me out alot. So don't take offense, I meant something other than the way it was taken.

We are no were close to those numbers.

The most I have ever raced in one class was 17 quads. The tracks I mentioned usually have 10 or more quads to race against.

Thats not to far away from me. I might head on down there some time if I have the extra money, no other races, and probably skip a day of school or something .

What classes do yall have? Amt. and Exp, or is there a nov, intermediate, and pro class? Most tracks I ride at, I race the Amt class, and at Badlands they have Nov, Int, and Pro, so I race intermediate there.

The Pro class around here usually consists of "A" class riders and we sometimes get a Pro-Am and Pro GNC rider... [Nate Levarenz (sp? - Pro-Am), and Johnny Hale (Pro)]. Cody Miller, Hunter Miller, and Chad Smith are probably "A" class riders, and when all of them are racing, it's some HIGH FLYIN action... those guys are FAST!!! The rest of the pro guys are riders that tried moving up to soon and pretty much got stuck there. Most are a little faster than me but they're not really "pro material". I haven't even gotten a 1st place trophy yet, so they should be a lot faster than me.
