A piped raptor isnt as fast as a stock dale...

 

Ask yourself what you need most....an MX machine or a trail machine. If you have'nt sunk $1k into Forged gears or switched too 02 specs on the Raptor tranny.....then the choice is easy.

 

The raptor is a very fast machine, I'm sure the raptor can out run a dale on the top end but generally speaking, the dale is the machine.

a raptor cannot outrun a dale on top speed. the dale is the fastest stock production quad made.

 

Stock geared Dale Speed 74mph.

 

my stock bul got about 6 quad lenghts on a stock raptor he stuck a pipe on it and i still got him but it was only about 3 lengths i put a pipe and moto mapping on mine and gained about 2 quad lenghts on him GPS before mods at 73.5 after the mods 78.9 mph

 

I plan on buying a '04ish Blaze for the tight and twisties, but I'm keeping my Raptor and it will be built up for the dunes and desert. With all the respect in the world to Cannondale, there is no replacement for displacement.
