I plan on buying a Speed in the near future and buying the Diagnostic Kit. First how long is the Cable that goes from the bike to the PC? Second, Where do you get the EFI maps, I know thats theres some on Cannondale's Website but are there any others?

Thanx

The cable is not very long, but you can buy extensions at radio shack etc. Cannondale has their maps and you can also get maps from optimum power which is the company that makes the software. They are supposed to be coming out with some new maps shortly from what I understand. You can also talk to some people on this forum and a lot of them are more than willing to give you maps that have been custom created for specific purposes like traction maps and things like that.

I understood that you could also map or re-map using a handheld Palm or Jornada/Ipaq, eliminating the need to hook to your PC.

There is no Palm version, only Pocket PC. Check the Optimum website for which PocketPC hardware it works with.
