Just made a quick trip to see how it would do. Played around at competition hill for a while and could beat pretty much everything but a couple built Banshee's a piped Cannibal. Damn this thing is fast! My only complaint is how stiff my suspension is. Pismo is in desperate need of some wind and the sand was really rough. The more I ride it, the more I wish the front shocks were softer. Is it worth having the front shocks revalved or should I just look for better shocks? Who can do the revalving?

Crawlr---- I thought the same thing when I first got the 'Dale. Now after riding it for several months it has loosened up. It took about 25 hrs or so and rides like a dream. I ride on the dunes mostly and I know what ya mean about the rough sand. I worried about the harsh ride at first and talked to some of the bike riders on thumpertalk.com and they had the same thing to say. I did add a steering dampner and it made a huge difference. I think the shocks will be fine just give them a chance. Although I'm 6'-1" and weigh (with all my gear on) about 225lbs. so that might make a difference. Give it some time and good luck...

That sounds promising but I am only about 150lbs so I guess we'll see. I'll give it a few more trips to let it loosen up. Now that I think about it, the steering dampner seems like it would help out a lot. Thanks.
