believe it or not, i talk knowsalot out of a ride on his top secret c-dale. after market pipe with the savage 1000 map.i must say i was impressed with the power. hooked up great and wheelied in 3rd gear like it was nothing. i never got out of third gear. the thing pulled very hard all the way to the rev limiter (around 15,000) it felt as fast as my big bore 250r and actually pulled longer. mrp how does your c-dale feel power wise to your 250r. mark, i'm assumimg you have raced against 250rs before. how does the c-dale do on long straight aways, holeshots and out of corners compared to an r. thankd alot knowsalot for the test ride. when i get $25,000 saved up i will buy it from you.one other thing, mrp do you have walsh race crafts number or web site? thanks

No problem.
Next time, we will be sure to get away from the confines of the FACILITY and let it all hang out. Then you will see the 'Bull's full potential.

Yes, that thing is sweet. With some gearing changes and maybe alittle length on the swing arm, it's going to be the benchmark to which others compare their machines too.
Airtime,
Cannondales pull sooo hard in the mid to top range. I've seen a Moto down at the local track walk away from built R's in the straights. Handling in the corners, it's not up to par with an aftermarket chassis, in my opinion. It's close, but I think with some suspension work and maybe a different offset front wheel, the Moto could be there. A Moto is a holeshot machine! They rocket off the line.

jvc400ex,
i was impressed with power. i was thinking about a cannibal with a walsh front end and rear swing arm. i think this would be a better handling machine than a stock moto. maybe with pep zps shocks or custom axis. have you seen any set ups like this.

Airtime,
Check out AdvancedATV
go to the cannondale section and look at their ready ready Cannibal's and moto's. The stage 3 is what I think your looking for.

airtimehocutt- The Cannondale I have been riding doesnt belong to me. Its a demo that I can take and ride for fun. You can reach Mike or Nate at 860-889-5482(Walsh Race Craft). Tell them Todd told you to call and they will hook you up with what ever you need.
This is a (TRUE) report on how I feel about the Cannondale vs my Curtis Sparks/ Walsh Race Craft/ 250r.... unlike the false reports ATV magazines give. First off I have ridden the Cannibal, Blaze, and Moto 440. They were all 02 models. From what I could tell they all have the same power and ability to rev to the moon and back. I have more seat time on the Cannibal and Blaze than the Moto. So this report will actually be the Blaze vs my 250r.
The Blaze is a friend of mine and he has put Lone Star +2 +1 a-arms, Lone Star axle, and Holeshot MX front and rear. He also put different sprockets on the front and rear. So it is basically set up for MX.
Power Wise: The Blaze is hands down more powerful than my 250r. The Blaze has more useable power everywhere compared to my 250r. The Blaze revs higher and is alot easier to ride. In a drag race the C-dale would probably beat my 250r by two or three bike lengths.
Handling Wise: This is where the Cannondale lacks (not by too much though). Handling wise there isnt a quad they make that can out handle my Walsh frame. I have done some things on this quad that amaze me. I can go into a turn alot faster on my R than I can the Blaze. BUT the Blaze can rocket itself so fast out the turns and down the straights it makes up for not going into the turn as fast.
Jumping Wise: Again, it is hard to beat my Walsh 250r in the air. My R flies so smooth that it makes you feel very comfortable. The Blaze flies good also, but naturally is heavier, not so much that it makes a difference though.
Overall: Overall I would pick my 250r over my friends Blaze. But let me build a Cannondale the way I want it ex. Walsh a-arms and Axis shocks or Elka's and a few other changes and I would be picking the Cannondale hands down as the winner.
Cannondale has made a quad that is going to be the future of quad racing (in my opinion). It will be the next 250r. Anyone who knocks on this quad is either jealous, scared of change, or just a fool. I know this isnt the best report but its truly the way I feel about the two quads.

Talk to Gabe.(1986ATC250r), his step-father just bought a Converted Speed. He might be able to answer some questions.

the moto is awesome out of the hole, josh has pulled the last 8 out of 10 holeshots and that was against 250 r's 400 ex's with 440 big bore kits, banshees and a big bore raptor. i have not saw a quad yet that can hang with it in the straights. like mrp said it lacks in the corners and the big jumps. some of the high dollar r's and 400's can do tripples that josh cant but he can make up for it in the straights.

you looked good on that blaze wednesday night and jason was hanging pretty good on josh's moto. i think we gonna have a hell of a good race on the 14 with some really good riders and quads. i'm anxious to see how josh hangs with you and the rest of the top riders in the money class. did you hear from kip yet. talk to you later
