i have been corrected on the rims, thank you. last i heard they were going to the steel rims to cut cost and maybe bring the price down some on the cannibals.

now as far as the rumor i spoke of since i have been quoted a couple of times on that. you have to read it all i said " and we know how rumors go " i did not believe it either. it was not told to me in a dealership. when we were at monster mountain a guy struck up a conversation with me at the starting line. it started with him asking me why you dont see many banshees running mx. somehow it went next to the raptor and he said he worked at a yamaha dealer and they were not getting any more in because sales were down and yamaha was trying to decide if they should drop them or not

i myself dont see that happening since the raptor is the only true 4 stroke high performance sport quad they make. now i will have the warrior guys on my butt but i myself dont consider the warrior a high performance quad. i have one that i ride and i love it and it fills my needs but i still dont consider it a high performance quad.

i dont know about there, but here they cant keep raptors in stock, i called everywhere around here and they dont have any, i still dont know what im gonna get...may come down to whichever financeing is the best. ill probly wait till december when quad sales are slow and i can get a really good deal and hopefully we may see what suzuki will do with the 700, if they make it a 6 speed with reverse ill definatly get that. or hopefully honda and maybe even bombardier might realease something.

Moose - I'm not much of a drag racer, but ofcourse I would line my quad up against anything. I don't care what it is... I don't ride to beat everyone... well yeah I do actually, but mostly I ride for fun . I was thinkin about going in November some time or late December. I'm going to Europe for a couple of weeks in the beginning of December (DARN! ) so I might have to go to LS when I get back. It's hard enough not getting to ride for a long time... but rarely even seeing a quad for that long is even harder!
