Has anyone got a letter regarding their Arvin shocks being recalled. I stumbled upon the recall info on the Cannondale website. If so, what exactly was done. Did you get brand new shocks???

I took my recall notice in to my cannondale dealer and they didn't even know about the recall. They said they would have to call cannondale to see whats up. I hope they get on the ball, I dont like the idea of going 70 miles an hour and my suspension breaking.

Dang... I was hoping it would be a recall on the rear Ohlins shocks... that way I could get a free fix.

uh.... right...

You'll prolly get some Fox Shocks. Similar to those BAD *** shocks used on the Predator 500 .

yeah, my dealer had no idea about the shock recall either. I hope I get my letter soon, so I can get this fixed.

If you haven't received a letter yet, go to the Cannondale site and pick on recalls on the left side of the screen. It's the same as the letter that comes in the mail. The letter will give you two model numbers to look for on your shock body to see if yours are affected.

I got my letter a couple days ago, also. I haven't gotten anything done about it, yet.

Does anyone know of any that have had a problem?
