With the mappable fuel injection I think the Cannondale could be a great beginer quad. Someone just needs to create some really mild maps for the beginers. I thought about it for my son's next quad, but I would want a mild mannered map with about an 8k rev limit. Then you could bump up the performance as the rider gets better. It would be alot easier and cheaper than buying an EX or something and modding it for performance as they get better.

Any mapping experts out there?

JayBr, I hadn't thought about it like that but you make a really good point. It is possible for the c-dale to be tuned down so beginner riders can get the feel and then raise it as their experience increases. So TaintedGlory I will change my assessment. The cannondale could be a great quad for you assuming you can get a detuned map until you get used to the machine and gain experience. The maintenance is not that bad once you get the routine down. The one thing that a lot of people complain about is if you are going to use this as a trail machine is that it doesn't have a reverse. I ride trails all of the time and it doesn't bother me because the machines are so light but some people can't live without a reverse.
