Default need help with the fox rear shock

cannondale 27, i don't think you would want to waste your time tring to rebuild a chock that cain't be rebound adjustable. not much you can do to a none adjustable shock. wayne at pep said 99% of fox shocks are rebuildable and are generally good shocks. however not the shock off the 03' cannibal. anyway, i'm going to keep it so i can put it back on my quad when i sell it in a coupple of years.

Default need help with the fox rear shock

I work part time at arctic cat, cannondale dealership my job is to rebuild shocks and cannondalework I have found the fox shock parts to be really inexpensive and usually interchangable I would enjoy the challenge of finding the right combination of valving, bottle the rebound and compression adjustments are really just for fine tuning the valving is what is most important I will have to take another look at them to see if they are rebuildable since I respect Waynes opinion alot he may just think they arent worth going through the work since his shocks offer so much more qualities.

cannondale27, wayne like fox shocks, he said he had never seen a fox shock that did not have the rebound adjustment. after checking the shock and with cannondale i called him back and told him it did not have a rebound adjuster. wayne said he thought he could replace the solid shaft with a rebound adjustable shaft and make it work, but for the money difference it was easier to just go with a new shock
i'm just happy wayne would build the shocks for me i don't care how fast your quad is, if you don't have a good suspension your going to eat alot of dirt on a moto x track.

Yeah you are lucky to get him to do the shocks for you my buddy Bill Berger went with the zps front and Ohlins conversion rear he says it works better than his 250r framed 500 quadzilla with the zps.Its funny Wayne said that he never saw a Fox shock w/o rebound adj.none of the snowmobile shocks have rebound adjustment just comp. on the rezzy.
