Default anti vibe handle bar clamp for a 03'dale

has anyone put an anti-vibe handle bar clamp on a new 03 with the stock steering stem? i've seen them advertised but have not heard of anyone having one. my 03'has a honda looking steering stem and i think it will bolt right up. i have the 1"pro -tapper handle bar.

I have one on my 02 speed with a +1 Houser stem. It along with Tag T2 bars filled with silicone made a big difference on lowering the handlebar vibration.

was it the anti-vibe bar clamp or the silycone that helped? does the steering stem on an 02' cannibal look like the o3's? i heard cannondale redone the steering stem on all the o3's. something about the tie rods hitting the frame. saw this at advancedatv.com

I that they redisigned the 03 stem but have seen one to compare mine to. The reason I replace mine was becuase when I wrecked it one of the tierods would hit and stop the steering from turning to it's limit. The anti-vibration clamp helped reduce the vibration some and also helps soak up some of the smaller bumps do to the rubber grommets allow some small movement in the handle bars. I added the silicone after racing it at a national to reduce the vibration a little more. Less vibrate = less fatigue. After added the silicone to the bars I was able to notice that the front shocks fade a little on the last lap. Before I was to tried to notice it.

I added the silicone to my Tag T2 handlebars. What the silicone does is it soaks up some of the vibration. When you are racing for 2 plus hours the vibration tends to help in fatigueing you alot quick so the less vibration the better off you are.

I have a big gun pipe on mine within two months the vibration shook the exhaust apart. When I trail ride I run the stock pipe I noticed vibration was really reduced. Now I put a exhaust hanger from a 250r on my big gun this really made a big difference I am working on getting it to mount a little higher but otherwise this is a worthwhile mod.Think about it the exhaust is mounted solid to motor and frame not a good idea the first company to offer a rubber mounted silencer with springs on the pipe joint will have a edge over the others I know I would buy one.
