Kinda sucks about the GasGas sponsorship thing. OH well at least they biult a 2-stroke race quad.
GT Thunder told me 575 or 725 pending which style of the a-arms would work. I'm not sure about him stocking them. I'll ask him next time I talk to him. I'll have a total on what it cost me and what all was done as soon as I get the quad back. I was told by GasGas that they are working on a set of 48" a-arms for the quad so you might what to ask your dealer about that. I just didn't want to wait to see if and when they would be available. It took them 2 years to get this quad hear and I'm not going to wait to race mind becuase of the width problem, thats where GT came in.
I look forward to seeing you at the GNCC's and maybe some D-11's. Goodluck and you'll love the GasGas quad it's awesome. Not all I need is a steering damper for mind. I'm waiting on the dealer to get the info on which stroke it needs 90, 120, 140, or 160mm stroke. BTW the quad as the same bolt pattern that the 400ex uses on the tires. I went with the rear cannondale offset and 4-1 front offset.
As for this years GNCC results I race the last 9 GNCC's and finished 21st in the stock 4-stroke class (1 pt from 20th and 2 from 19th). Next years national number will be 265. I finished 4th in the District 11 2 stroke class (was in 2nd until I missed the last 10 races due to selling the lt).
This was my first year at the GNCC's and 4th year at D-11. I've finished 10th ('99), 7th ('00), and 6th ('01). My goal is a top 10 in the GNCC open A class and 1st or 2nd in the D-11 series. I'll see you on the track.

I was gonna talk to Daryl about one of the Gas Gas quads. Did he get any in yet? Congrats on the Open B title. I need to try to make it to more than three Dist. 5 races next year!!! Let me know when yours comes in, I'd like to take a look at one in person.

District 11 has a couple classes:
2-stroke
4-stroke
utility
quad AA (rumor is that this class my be new this year) (if so it'll a pro payback class).
I'll be in the 2-stroke class. If you make it look me up. Hey I might have room in my trailer (7x14 enclosed) if your interested in tagging along to the GNCC's (I don't know how far you are from Columbus, Ohio). If interested let me know.

I'm planning on running all the Gncc's this next season. I too normally drive by myself to all the nationals. I typically leave the friday before the national (the time I leave during the day depends on the distance I have to travel) and camp at the track. I'm not sure about the first 2 GNCC's becuase of money issues (I got laid off last month).

that sounds good i wouldn't do the first two gncc anyway... the one in pa and the ones in ohio are the ones that a few more racers go with me so at those ones we can just me there and pit together... i don't have that great of a vehicale to be going to the far ones so this would be great for me... me and you going together to the far ones would be good we can share the costs...
