Locally the problem we've had with motor replacement has not been the actual motor at all. I don't know what type of riders you fellas are, but if you jump big this will concern you. The cases are stressing and cracking at the mounts usually on the right side. I think there was too much aluminum machined out for "weight savings". I also heard of the two bolts that come loose inside the motor but haven't actually seen it. Anyways, the problem has been fixed and I was told that I got the LAST motor to be warrantied. Now they just send cases for the fix.
P.S. I cracked mine doing a 70' double that probably sends you 17-20' up.(roughly)

The landing is kinda hairy to say the least. To be honest, I shouldn't have been jumping it until next year. It has a 15-20 foot face on it and then it just drops off. It is unique though because it is an uphill jump, so after the long,(far) drop it comes back up quickly with a nice hump you have to clear. I'm hitting it as fast as I can get going after I land from the table top leading to it. I'd say that it is 3rd pinned, but I'm doing it in fourth to counter the front end wanting to tsunami me. Fourth pinned sends me the smoothest because I clear the little hump on top also. The jump is called the "Jawbreaker" for good reason. By the way, I didn't mean to offend anyone in here with the "don't know what kind of riders you guys are" statement. I'm new here and just wanted to help out. Thanks, Brian.

I have a serious motor issue. I had an oil leak, took it to the dealer, they put a "crankcase breather update" on it, said it was fixed. Got it back, rode it for 30 minutes, it locked up. got off of it and realized it was losing a mixture of coolant and oil. It got really hot, that is why it seized. once it cooled down, it would turn over. To top it off, when it seized I was on the way back to the truck, because the transmission got stuck in third gear.

I have had countless problems with this 6 month old machine, right from the first time I rode it. I don't understand why some of you people have beat the crap out of your machines without any problems. Just my bad luck I guess.

Anyway, I will be selling this machine. It should have a new engine, and its got Ohlins on the front. The chassis has (at the very most) 25 hours on it. It has never been wrecked. So, PM me if anyone out there is interested.
