yes RPM, but they did state their reasons......

the Z400 is better for the average, everyday rider.

for the advanced rider, who rides fast and hard, they recommend the Cannondale.....but this is a chosen few compared to the everyday riders....

maybe they shouldnt call the z high performance then

i meen no doubt its a great quad but high performance to me sounds like a no holds bar if it goes fast handles and jumps great

maybe they should call all of thos quads like the z sports cause they apeal to a large audiance and high performance is for people who demand the best

just a thought

I would like to know how the moto is only 46.5" wide. How about if it's a high performance shootout you give it to the high performance winner and then you say "This is a high performance shootout and this is the winner. For the average rider who isn't a racer that pushes the quad to it's limit this other quad may be better for." They seem to do this backwards considering everyone I ride with doesn't race only a couple of us do but we are all trying to get better/faster all the time and if you have enough experience to grow into a fast bike it might be cheaper to buy it up front than to mod the hell out of a bike that's good for the average rider.

All I know is that every new bike that comes out, they make it seem that what ever you ride is not up to par with the new quad that is out. They did it w/ the DS650, then 400ex, then the raptor, then the dale, then the Z so if you can put together a quad it might be the next quad that they pick the "best sport quad"

They never gave the Dale or any other quad not made by the big 4 it's day in the sun. I guess no 2 page adds = no shoot out wins. Hell they even find the guts to say quads that can't out perform the Dale do out perform the dale in their shootouts.
