Where did you get the info on Chapter 11, there are no press releases or other information on the financial sections that I checked.

Cite your source. I had my broker check the wire and everything. There is nothing out there to support a comment like that.

 

My source is a friend of mine who is in the graphics industry and a very involved businessman. He also has conversations with many others involved in the business. His lead about Chapter 11 is very strong. It only means that Cannondale has to put together a payment plan to their creditors and put forth to the court how they are going to "turn their business around". My shop guy also knows a gentlemen in Cannondale production who has said that he been on an undetermined leave of absence for a while. I really hope things will turn around since my stock has been puking all over itself for the last couple of months.

 

Ok, you heard from someone who knows something, who heard it from someone else. This was confermed by someone who is on a leave of absence and not at the plant to hear anything. Does that sum it up?

Until they release the official word it's a rumor.

I hope it isn't true but until we know we won't KNOW.

Raptorguy you said "Cannondale has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy." The fact is they have not filed Chapter 11. I have read so many somebody heard, said, read somewhere, talked to somebody who works there, knows somebody who knows sombody else etc... That I take it all with a large grain of salt. Cannondale is publicly traded and people can have lots of reasons for saying positive or negative statements regarding the Co. especially on public forums.

 

If they would have filed bankruptcy then the doomsdayers on Yahoo financial boards would have been throwing a party already. It' doesn't mean cannondale won't file for bankruptcy cause it could very well happen.

From Yahoo I heard some workers came back to work this week and that they were going to hold a work rally Friday. Anyone know anything about this? I wish the best for them, their families and for Cannondale.

 

As usual on here, every one knows the truth. I guess when I posted, I should have stated that I heard from someone, that their cousin's brother's niece had heard this. I don't post things on here to impress others or to make myself feel important. I know the people who have told me this are reliable and that is all that matters. I really do not care one way or the other, I do not own a Cannondale or own a significant amount of stock to lose sleep over. I just tried to add what I had heard, which is what most of these pages are filled with, speculation. I'm sorry for those who are upset that I will not reveal my source, but I doubt I would hear anything if I were to jump on these forums and post the name of my source everytime I hear new information. Unfortunately I have contributed to another post on this website that will waste space on people critizing others who post on here. I will try to keep my posts from now on limited to those about how fast my quad is and how no one else can beat. Since it is more important than sharing any techincal information or trouble shooting information. I'm sorry I had even responded to this post.

 

maybe you just should have been clearer in your first post. I think a lot of c-dale owners are tired of rumors and speculation, look how long these types of threads have been going on. I'm sorry if I offended by asking you to site your source but you need to be prepared to backup your statement if you are going to post it. Why not just say "I heard c-dale is going to file C-11" and go from there? Again I wasn't trying to stifle you or stop you from posting opinon just qualify it as what it is. I hope you will continue to post what you hear in the future.

 

RaptorGuy - Nobody here is trying to act like they know everything. Don't get all pissed off at us when people ask you to cite your source after you said, "Cannondale has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy." That doesn't sound like an opinion to me.
