Yes word has it that Cannondale's ATV division is in real trouble and that they are looking for a buyer. It sad to see because Cannondale personally moved Sprt ATV's and Racing up to the next level! Hey Polaris and Artic Cat you could be as dominate in ATV racing as you are snowmobile racing - all you have to do is purchase Cannondale - how about it???????

Bad rumours,
Just spoke with my dealer and the sales rep.from C-dale and they told me that the lay offs are a normal thing they do every year, this allows them to regroup for the new year. yet the article does not explain all this and people jump to conclusions.

These words came from a person who personnaly spoke to one of Cannondale's decesion makers and it's both dirt bikes and ATV's - Personnally I hope it's wrong but I'm afraid that this time it's more then just a rumor!

We know it's not a rumor, but we also know they are doing a lot of R&D on products that they'll use in the motorsports devision. Now why would they do that if they were gonna sell out? If anything, they may merge the motorsports devision with someone. I wouldn't be suprised to see that happen, and it wouldn't hurt either. That would just be that much more help and money spent to makes these bikes and quads even better.

Hopefully they (CDale) will make a statement or something. I would think that all these rumors could scare off potential buyers and laying them all to rest would be in their best interest.

I, agree with the person who said that it may scare away potential customers. I am looking for a new bike at the end of the season and I'm a little nervous about buying a C-dale right now. I love what they have done and I think even (go forbid) if they went under they have raised the bar to show these Manufacturers what we want and where we need to be. I hope it all pans aout in the end and C-dale comes out even stronger . Keep me posted .
