Well, my quad stayed running the entire time. The winner in the 500cc and under where two stock Cannibals. The one time I lined up with them I beat them by several quad lengths. That and I out weighed them by 100 pounds.

43 MPH at the top of the kill. Third gear tapped out couldn't pull fourth strong.

The whoops where huge and made a BIG differance on the outcome.

The two Cannibals came in first due to being Stock.

I would have lost badly to the Trinity 465 on NOS and the Sparks 465 as well didn't get to run them.

IT turned into a cluster and everything became very hard to tell what was going on.

Not bad for a Port and Polish, mapped and slipped-on running on pump gas and V-paddles.

I sure don't remember that race.........But who cares, right!

I am the owner of the Cannibal that came in second. The one that came in first place, beat it buy just a bike length or so. He also had a better tuned suspension, and weighed alot less then I did.

We had the bike on the dyno Friday night. It put out 43.7 hoarsepower. That is with a CT pipe, filter, and one of 1986atc250R's maps in it. The bike was awsome. It ran side by side with some VERY big DS's and Raptors.

Did you dyno your bike at FSW, smitty?

I wish you would have come over and introduced yourself. I am always wanting to meet new people and do some rideing.

DuneDevil are you running the Moto/speed map? If so how do you like it I've got a copy of it but haven't tried it yet due to my laptops fried and I got shafted on one I bought off of E-bay.

Yes that is the map that I have. It is a sweet map on the sand. I have not tried it on the trail or anywhere else, but this last weekend it was great.

I was pleased with the responsiveness (sp) of the bike. It did not matter what speed I was doing, I could bring the front end up in a split second to go over obsticles or off of a dune or what ever needed. It would pull from the bottom to the top of the RPM's all the way up Old's!! All in all, it is a great map. I would recomend it to anyone who wants a good responsive map.

As a matter o ffact I been getting my but kicked on the hole shot by a 44oex and a 265
powervalve R the last 2 races,I know them ex's can be built to run!

 

So tell us guys how did the dale compare to the ex's,Preators's,z's & Kfx's up olds hill.

Im going to try my butt off to make it up there next year for round three.Sounds like yall had a blast.

How was thoes NIGHT RIDES THROUGH THE DuNeS?I think that would be my favorite part.

 

Oh i know as a matter of fact we did not even compete with the 440 we were so busy trying to keep up with my biggest ds we did not have time to run the little ds and the 440 also there were quite a few cannons out there i was suprised i know i seen at least 5 or more it was just off the hook!!!

Ps. there were a lot of night rides and day dunning and dragging hill shooting and partying i mainly party'ed the frist night at the hill my throttle on my little ds stuck and i went hard over the top and took my handle bars in the chest so i did not hardly get on a quad the rest of the weekend.my buddie rode my big ds in the comp.
