Well it had a weak battery, but enough juice to get started. When I started it it was smoking white out of the exhaust! What could this be from? I just hope its not blown. Could it be from sitting or maybe from cleaner or something on the pipe & motor, all the fluids are good. It ran just fine 3 weeks ago

This has me really bumbed, any help would be apprieciated, Thanks

I only let it run for a few seconds, afraid if theres something wrong it might make it worse........how long should it have to run before it should quit?

Thanks

what he said: moisture. don't be worryin. However, it is generally agreed to never start a 'dale and kill it before allowing it to warm up. say 3-4 minutes. Decreases your chance of plug fouling. I know this was special circumstances though. 30 seconds tops for burn off. depends on your garage and weather though i guess.

I did the same thing last night. Hooked up a battery charger for an hour, came back and she fired right up.
Let it get to normal operating temp before you shut her down. This will help keep the battery charged and last longer.

Every time I crank my 400ex up(maybe 1 time every 2 months)it lets off alot of white smoke for a few min. and then clears up.I dont think its a problem.
