crankcase stud update?
#2
there are 6 bolts that have to be changed. there is only 1 you can see without pullin the motor. take the clutch cover off, pull the clutch. the bolts behind the clutch should be a stud wit a nut on it. if it is an allen head bolt you need the update. yes you will have to bleed the clutch when you put it back together. you can go to cannondales web site to the bulletins and click on the crank case stud update. there are pictures showing you all six bolts and the locations

Mark I wasn't saying you were wrong.I realy don't know if you are suposed to bleed it or not.I was hoping someone that realy new for shure would chim in.
If you get the rear shock done are you going to get the front done to?Just wondering. It may not be a good idea to only get the rear done.It will squat in the rear and make it want to raise the front up real easy.Anyways I cant wait to see how it turns out.I would not mind getting my shocks converted to zps.It looks like it helps alot from what I have seen at the races.

I've heard that Cannondale is actually shipping out parts again. Just real slow with the lack of man-power.
On the stud update why is it the early engines have the allen bolts but less of a problem?
