Hey Markvette

Don't you have a buddy with Elkas on a moto? If so what does he think. I just ordered some and have heard a lot of good things about them but then lately I have heard 2 or 3 negative things and it's freaked me out a little. Did he get them from Jeff?
Thanks, Diggler

I know you were looking for markvette, but I have Elka's on my quad and I thought I would reply just for a positive review. I like the way the front is set-up. I do mostly trail riding and harescrambles and the fatigue factor has been greatly reduced. The rear shock I have set too soft, but tht is my fault. The shocks were in my hand in less than 2 weeks and have worked flawlessly for the last couple of months. I am a 200lb rider. I know of a couple of guys with the same suspension on different brands of quads and all of them like the set-up. Hope this helps.

Thanks D. I heard if you don't like the way they are setup you can send them back up to 3 times at no charge. I also heard that Jeff's does warranty work on them and if you need them set up again they do it there and they are better at it than the factory. I'm getting mine set up for a 200 pound rider as well and I really hope they get it right the first time.

Dirtdiggler: They were set-up well from the Q-u-a-d shop I messed with the compression setting and I haven't been able to get it right. So it is my fault not the shocks.

Jeff said they don't do the initial set up Elka does. They do do warranty work, rebuilds and revalves so if you send them back because they aren't the way you want them it gets done by Jeff's guy Marty not Elka. This is the way I believe it works I think Rico told me this if I'm remembering correctly.

I did not know that. I only talked to Jeff and I go back and forth with him and Rico on some other forums all the time. I've only heard of Marty and that he did work on shocks other than that I know nothing of him.
