Trinity Racing port and polish/valvetrain experience from hell

Air stop being an a$$. You do nothing but flame and bicker all the damn time. Why would someone lie about something like this? Do us all a favor and leave the cannondale forum because you have nothing to offer but negitive BS and nothing more..

Air, I would call them back and if they gave me some bull$hit excuss like they gave Alaska I would give them hell! But in Alaska's case he needs his motor done withen 4 weeks and with the rate that Trinity does things it will never be done in time...

errorraptor..I am "Ryan". Adam..the guy you're getting worthless information from..is a loser. He expects the world..but offers nothing in return, and screws you over in the end anyways. But back to the whole getting beat thing.
That was not a craycraft motor..it was a stock bore 12:1 piston with a stage II cam, with springs and NO porting. The stage II does NOT like unported heads..which I figured out the hard way. And yeah..he beat me in one race...but I was running 13/42 gearing on an 01 tranny. The bike would spin bad off the line, and by the time I got to half track..it didn't want to rev anymore. The next day, I switched back to my 13/40 after I realized I had been running a 13/42..but he loaded up and refused to race me? Strange. I had JUST gotten my motor back together also, it was barely broken in..and I took it off alcohol because it wouldn't run right, and I threw some gas jets in it literally 10 minutes before the race. When it's all said and done, I got beat when it counted...and that's fine. I just listed all of those excuses(which are actually true) to show you how ridiculous your posts are when you talk about tight chains and dragging brakes. Nobody cares...whoever wins, wins. End of story.
Btw, I know you're looking for another raptor head...Adam has one for sale on ebay. Good condition, small crack LOL. In the description of it, he is even lying there...you've all been warned about him..

I was on the phone with Jim right after this happened. He went out riding, the valves dropped out and he took it home and tore it down. After seeing 3 out of 4 valves drop out he called me. We talked about it for a little bit and he said he was going to call Harry. After he called Harry he called me back and told me the run-around Harry gave him. How can Harry accuse him of over-revving when the quad has a rev limiter? How do 3 valves fall out at the same time immediately after a Trinity rebuild when the quad ran all last MX season without a hint of problem? Jim lives in Alaska and shipping is quite expensive (I know I shipped him an Xbox from Ohio and that cost nearly $30 one way). I believe Jim told me shipping was $60 to Trinity the first time. So now you want Jim to pay to ship a head to Trinity AGAIN, which should've been done right the first time, only to have Trinity say it wasn't their fault?? I was talking with Jim about Trinity's port work because I was going to send my Dale head there if everything went well. Obviously, things didn't go well. Let's all troubleshoot this problem together:
->Jim buys Dale and breaks it in
->Jim races first MX season on it with no problems
->Jim sends head to Trinity for work
->Trinity has Jim's head with no definite time on when it might be done
->Trinity finally ports the head and sends it back to Jim assembled with their own, personal cam timing modification many weeks after they promised to have it back
->Jim bolts assembled head onto motor and starts it up.
->Takes it out for a test ride and smoke pours from the exhaust as the motor shuts down
->Tears engine down to find 3 valves dropped out of the brand new, assembled head
->Calls Trinity and Harry says he over-revved a rev-limited bike.
->Now Harry wants him to send it back so he can inspect it (and the last time Trinity had the parts it was weeks upon weeks of waiting)
->Jim needs a new head NOW so he calls Kyle at R&S Performance who ships him a stock head the next day (that's customer service, folks)
Now, in that story, where would one surmise who's at fault here?

I really dont know what happened at Trinity but I do know that cannondale has used at least two cam profiles. If you measure the lobe height of a newer (2002)or newer motor and compare it to the specs in 2002 engine service manual the new height is way bigger than old.The manual is wrong.I assume these specs are for old motor with domed piston and carrilo rod?And people wonder why we only have a few performance shops that will tackle a cannondale.

Alaska that is a bummer i would say it's probably a case of improper installation or wrong keepers and that dose suck!!! and i realize that with only 4 weeks your running out of time. but call harry give him the facts see if he will be willing to prioratize your motor if he say's no don't send it if he say's yes send it back the shipping will be cheaper than you eating this mess and i can tell you harry is a good guy and if he ain't givin the chance to fix this then were just bashing him here !!! and people say we want the builders to come here and visit this is no way to get them here!!and as for the trailer park trash(im not calling them names thats what they like being called) They are only knocking harry to better there name (FUNNY HOW THAT ONLY MAKE"S A SHOP LOOK BAD) well i would appreciate if the trailer park did not attack me for pointing out the truth but i can live with what ever is thrown at me!!! and for your info alaska the trinity's that have come after me have fared way better than any craycraft has aginst my bikes !!! as a matter of fact im running one this weekend he might just take me down !!! well alaska let us know what happens or if i can help you in any way!!

AZSAND_ you were late to the party on this thread. You do not want to be attacked but you have to throw a few jabs. lol I hope to see you in Texas or Oklahoma this year. It was only a few short weeks ago you said you were bailing off the forums and never signing back on. I guess you lied about that also. I do not think anyone was knocking harry on this thread, everyone hates to see a fellow forum member broke down. Alaska posted that harrys first reply was that he overreved it. He could of said "dam, i hate to see that, what type of riding were you doing??How much time on the motor?? etc. Send it back and we will get it sorted out" It looks like Harry went on the defense in a hurry. Alaska started this thread AFTER he talked to Harry so his feeling after getting off the phone was not one of don't worry will make it right, but i wonder how i overrreved it with a rev limiter on the quad. lol
AZSAND- what craycraft have you ever run?? A stock bore raptor with head work on gas??? BenAZ's?? I would hope you could out run that one with your used pammi 760 on alky and nittro. That quad runs well from what has been posted, it has done in a number of trinity 686's and others at the hill. You did not post any thruthful info in your post. LOL You must have a deal worked with airraptor, when he does not post anything stupid you will.
