New track in Mobile Alabama?
#21
Mark we will not be racing this weekend becouse I have to work. Another thing there are to many tracks racng this weekend the quad trun out is sure to be low.
The landing,new iberia,dirt trackin,and fernwood.
To me that would be a waste of money to go race this weekend with so many tracks running.

I'm not a MXer but we've been riding out there for the last 3 months and it's a lot of fun. A real quad friendly track. No irrigation yet but it's coming. They also have a dirt oval short track for cars and a cart track. There are also 20-50 miles of trails accessible from the track. The club runs the races and it is very small and inexperienced. Had the first race Saturday with only 7 quad entries, maybe 75 bikes. Nobody who could clear anything on a quad. Track admission is 10$/rider and is open every weekend, weather permitting. $20 to race. The next race is 4/5 and you can stay for the stock car race free.
There is also a new track around saraland that i haven't been to, rolling hills MX. 251-680-5914
Heard a rumor this weekend that Mark Barnett? will be building a track just north of I-10 at hwy 59(gulf shores).

i haven't been to the mobile track, but a friend ofmine went tothe new track in huntsville, al. he said it was great but i have not actually seen it.also, there are several nice tracks around birmingham, al. check out mill creek right outside of birmingham. it has a large and wide out door track (safe jumps and many, many elevation changes) and a tight super cross style track. every jump is quad make able. hey mark, i've been away for a while. i haven't raced since shelbyville indoor race. by the way, there were two c-dales there. the guy that won the four stroke class and mine, who came in second. hole shot city for both of us. in the first heat we hole shot every body and hit the first table top side by side. it looked really cool on tape! after the table top there was a left hand turn and then a really cool wreck. lol my front tire caught his nerf bar and away we went airborne for a couple of flips. no real injuries. in the main it was hole shot for us again and we ended up 1st and 2nd. i haven't been on my quad since. maybe this weekend. did mr p get his c-dale yet? i see josh is ridding a ex now, how is he liking it?

long time no see. yea we lost the cannondale deal. we have only had the ex a couple of weeks and have the motor down putting a rod in it right now. it is jason fullers old quad. we have 7 arena cross races comming up around here in the next couple of months. 6 are a series they are running, it has amateur, pro money and mini quad classes. then ther is one may 12 here on the coast with the same classes. you can go to mxseries.com for info on the 6 race series.you know where i can get a good deal on a carrillo rod for the ex ? maaybe we can hook up at the races again. we still want t make it to monster mountian again. we were suppose to go next weekend but i have both quads tore down. my 9 year old is racing his mini quad now too. i just put a bunch of pars in his and am waiting on the cylinder and head to come back from trinity to finish putting it back together. dont be a stranger.
