Default Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Bill for Nevada - 2003

I don't own an ATV but I do own a dirtbike and was surfing the web looking around for stuff about trails and came across this thread/forum so I decided to add my 2 cents. Anything that is going to take money out of my pocket for something that I already do for free really sucks. I also own three street bikes and two Seadoo's that I have to pay for licenses and a sticker to put the ski's in lake mead. There are trails all over the place around here and the last thing I want is to have all these rules when I visit these places, and to say that it would be great if they did this just so you could ride and atv on the street is idiotic. People in Vegas drive with their heads up their a$$ now, that's all we would need is to throw that in the mix. I prefer that the only money I spend concerning my off road riding is for repairs to my KTM from me crashing on the FREE trails. Also yes I would go out of state to buy OHV to save a buck, who wouldn't.

So velocityboy you'd rather have no rules ----that eventually turns into no riding areas....try that on for size and see how that fits!

How do you think a lot of the trails stay open? How do you think a lot of businesses stay open?

Sorry my friend, you are the idiotic one!

I don't believe I called anyone idiotic, whats with the name calling. I gave my opinion and I stand by it. You need to ride where I ride and you would understand. What I meant mostly by the idiotic comment was street legal ATV's that is just plain stupid.

I'm totally agree with velocityboy. Just leave us alone. We don't need any more regulations. I don't think the Nevada dmv need any extra work. Please don't turn Nevada into a California.

I see both of you guys are from Vegas.
Do you ride at Dumont Dunes?
Wouldn't you rather give your money to Nevada and not California?
