Global Warming
Scientists are baffled! Its hot in every part of the country, from the east coast to the west coast, from North Dakota to Florida, it has to be Global Warming! We need to correct it now, we can correct it by cutting down fossil fuel use, why not have mandatory emmission tests on ATV's and Motorcycles, diesel trucks and trains, even lawnmowers and weedeaters, if any of these fail an emmission test they will be red tagged and be illegal to run and if you do run them you will be subject to a fine and even prison.

The day I have to load up my weed eater and lawnmower to have an emissions test done, is the day someone will be receiving a rectal exam with both.

The reason scientists are baffled is because they are IDIOTS!!
Heres my problem with all the global warming hype. The earth according to science is between 500 million and 500 billion years old. They have only been keeping track of the earths temp since the late 1890's. A little over 100 years. Im sorry but that isnt a big enough of a sample of time for me to believe any of it.

Actually, a perfectly efficient engine would make only CO2 and water, and it's high CO2 levels that are allegedly the problem. In Calif., we have emissions testing, but it's for other pollutants (one can hardly call CO2 and water "pollutants").
I am a professional biologist/biochemist, and I absolutely do not trust any of the data coming from anywhere on EITHER side of this issue, because it is all tainted with everybody's hidden political agenda.
The LEFT in particular uses the tactic of overstating a problem or even inventing ones that don't exist, then telling the public that they are their salvation if they will just vote them into power........it's just a power grab, nothing more. What we need on this issue is some good scientific data, by people that are not biased!

I heard after 911 the avaerage global temp. raised by a few degrees ( has never occured since it has beeen tracked) like 100 + years........could it be because of the airtraffic halt? Some say the fine particals in the air are actually protecting us by reflecting light and heat away....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Two of our pollutants have been cancelling each other out. The amount of sun reaching the earth has been falling because of the effects of particle pollution. If we fix particle pollution, the earth gets even warmer.
Many climatologists have been taking measurements and temperatures in major US cities and around the world for many years daily.
On 9/11 when all planes were grounded in the continental US, the average temperature in US cities spiked 2 degrees when the particle pollution from planes stopped protecting us.
