Why Tread Lightly!...?
#31
Always, always, stop for horses. Why risk someone getting thrown from a horse just to get down a trail a few seconds faster. It's just good relationship building that helps ATVing's image. Especially, here in the New England area where almost all riding is done on private property. Our club has a good relationship with a horse farm. They even let us use one of their big pastures for a poker run. If someone had caused one of their riders to get hurt it would probably be a different story.

Great discussion, and points about horses everyone!!!
I have never run into a horseback rider who, with proper level of patience and respect from me on the bike/quad, has been annoyed, frustrated, or angry about my presence.
Keep up the great work as ambassadors for the OHV community!
