I heard this on the news tonight.
California is considering Banning new black cars & trucks by 2012. Why? Because black absorbs more heat causing the engine to work harder and using more energy!
What a crock of crap! They will want to do the same to ATV's probably too!
All you Californians had better start writing letters to your congressmen & women!

The lunatics have taken over the asylum!
I think all this left wing in your face big government stuff will run its course within a few years (along with its patron saints Obama, Pelosi, Boxer, and Feinstein), and even the lunines liberals will realize that this whole experiment in socialism, social engineering, and class warfare was a huge mistake.
Thing is, it will take a generation to undoo the harm that they will have done in just a couple of years. At least in 2 years we can replace the idiots in the House of Representitives, and they can begin to block the idiotic legislation.

Are the "conservatives" really any better than the "liberals"?
IMO they both suck away our liberties just in different ways. The Liberals are environmentally unbalanced, and the Conservatives want to stick their noses into my personal life. Been the same old story for decades and neither side has done anything to cure anything.
Most pathetic of all are the voting morons that actually think one side is better than the other because of a stated dynamic within a platform. Please, people need to wake up and smell what both sides are shoveling. It is a constant cycle of idiocy right there in the history books for all to see, yet everyone ignores it and keeps on keepin' on!
Way to go America! We've finally castrated our voting process into oblivion because of such rampant ignorance. Only 30% of Americans voted in their last local election. Nice......
Everyone picks a handful of topics to back, and just conveniently ignores the rest. I'm voting for Dope A because Dope B is going to take my guns (really? still? they've been taking our guns since the 1800) Or I'm voting for Dope A because Dope B wants to kill the babies (really? still?).
Side A wants more government, but Side B wants more government in different areas and that's OK. Really? That's OK? You mean I will give up Freedom A because it might make us safer, but I won't give up Freedom B because it might make us safer. Really?
Its all pathetic, which makes me apathetic........I used to love politics, once upon a time I was a Poli Sci major. But the reality is that both sides have gone over the edge. Continued belief in one over the other as a strict rule is the problem. A country divided will go nowhere, and until there is a party that can truely unite this country will continue to stall and stammer along, always on the edge of economic collapse and political sway.

I'm not an ex-political sci major like ss97, I'm just a working man that has seen a lot of administrations come and go and I've never seen any thing like this one before!
