Well every yard should have those.

I'll bet the neighbors cat would have only crapped in my flower bed once.

And why is it that I have to take my dog, which I have papers on, to the vet and pay for it. But someone who is in this country illegally can go the to county hospital and get taken care of for free.

Well, technically it's not free. I get to pay part of that bill too.

He is so ignorant about this law.
And Obama lied when he said you could take your family to get ice cream and get hassled "to see your papers" It is written right into the law that in order for a police officer to ask your legal status you FIRST HAVE TO HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE AUTHORITIES OVER OTHER ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES
So, either Obama outright lied or he is also so ignorant about this law he doesn't know what it says.
What I find interesting is people like you speak of "big government" and the "Obama legacy" of government intervention, yet you promote and support laws like this that potentially impact 1000s of legal citizens of this country. I sure hope you don't consider yourself one of these new "libertarians" that have been cropping up all over. Most of them don't even know what a libertarian is. Big government.....only when it supports your needs is it important. The hypocrisy of your comments are comical.

Yes, I understand the borders need to be secured. Yes I understand 1000s of them slip across each month. Yes, I understand the situation. It needs to be dealt with from a market perspective, not big government monitoring everything with cameras and a new and bigger border dept. The answer, I don't know, but I do know it's not a bigger government presence with cameras, microphones and troops. Big government is great when you want it.

This is exactly why they wanted to get the pool going for the current uninsured. They could join the pool and pay into the system, instead of taking from emergency rooms all over the country. But wait...that would be big government takeover of medicine. Republicans would rather have people steal the services at emergency rooms so we pay for it, than help to fix the problem of the uninsured. So many cried about the mexicans getting "benefits" without ever mentioning that they would be paying into the system. The more you have the cheaper it is for everybody.

Who do you think is supposed to pay for you dog's vet care other than you? I guess I'm missing your point on that one.

alright FunRide, what do you mean by " the uninsured getting into the pool"? first of all, let's get it straight, health insurance is a commodity. it's a service. it's something you pay for if you want it. no different than your quad, your pickup truck, your house, your utility bill. if you want to use it, purchase it and use it. if you don't want it. don't purchase it. the feds don't mandate you buy a quad, truck, or a house do they? then why do they mandate health insurance? OH, they're socialists. remember? you wanted a quad right? by the way, the machine in your avatar is a very nice looking machine, but by buying it, you assume all other costs associated with it, correct? if i don't want the excess costs of the track system that your atvs has, i don't buy them now do I? health insurance is the same way, except for this one fact--nobody wants to buy it because they think it's expensive. BUT BY GOD THEY WANT IT WHEN THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOUT TO DIE or FEEL PAIN! and for the record, health insurance is very affordable, the state of kansas has had several insurers throughout the years that offer affordable policies. heck some as low as $20.00/month on up to $500.00/month. it' not hard to find insurance, it's just with the govt takeover, it's cheaper because others pay more than what the "less forturnate" may have to pay. i said all that to say this, if you want it, buy it. if you don't want it, suffer the consequences. either way, grow up and deal with your actions.
my name is Ricky and i approve of this message!
