I still remember my 5th grade.. maybe 4th grade teacher telling us about the war. She told us about the people who would try to change history. She told us why the war was fought, over land, and that slavery played a small, if any, role in the starting of the war.



My Southern pride may be overlooked in society, and if exposed, this pride is twisted into racism by ,simply, lack of education.
