My parents truly loved this country Im glad they are no longer here to not only have to see all the debacles and shenanigans going on against us but the sheer sheistering of the American public as well.It would break there heart not that they were even surprised.mom and I talked about this stuff all the time and all the stuff she said/predicted is happening. She blamed it On sheer greed and the fact and maybe the fact alone we have kicked Faith and God out of our public entities and lives and have turned our backs on the Lord as well..Retribution and paybacks from the Lord?maybe,or maybenot me thinks hes just gonna let man have his way and let us all hang ourselves because of our pride and greed?

The scary part of a nation that has a godly heritage and then turns and leaves it behind is that God will then say, "Okay, you don't want me around. That's fine." He then pulls off the protection He's provided. Of all the things going on, God pulling His hedge of protection away is the scariest.

"The best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. Repeal that [welfare] law, and you will soon see a change in their manners. ... The more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer. More will be done for their happiness by inuring them to provide for themselves, than could be done by dividing all your estates among them." --Benjamin Franklin (1766)

"If your object is to secure liberty, you must learn to do without authority and compulsion. If you intend to live in peace and harmony with your fellow-men, you and they should cultivate brotherhood and respect for each other. If you want to work together with them for your mutual benefit, you must practice cooperation. The social revolution means much more than the reorganization of conditions only: it means the establishment of new human values and social relationships, a changed attitude of man to man, as of one free and independent to his equal; it means a different spirit in individual and collective life, and that spirit cannot be born overnight. It is a spirit to be cultivated, to be nurtured and reared, as the most delicate flower it is, for indeed it is the flower of a new and beautiful existence." -- Alexander Berkman (1929)
