Bigblock: I totally agree! Plus the 10's manual trans will be great. It shouldn't take too long for Supercharger kits to become aval for that truck because they already have them for Vipers. That truck is going to be insane just wish it was priced a little lower than what the rumors say.

You guys are sick people LOL!!! You just need to get a 6.0 Powerstroke and cruise past ANY Hemi (I know my Dad has one), 6.0 Chevy (He's got a Denali too), or about anything else for that matter. NOTHING stock out tows this truck. Now if you want speed, get a Lightning. Add the 10K more that the SRT10 will cost to the Lightning and it will leave it like it's standing still. Or save a couple bucks and get a new F-150 and have the nicest new truck on the market. Any way you look at it, you better check out the Ford dealer really close!

Ok I think were getting kinda carried away, hes only going to be hauling a ATV. A lil 4 cylinder Nissan truck could do this job with no problems. But hey if you have the money a 03 Silverado 2500HD/6.6L Duramax Diesel with a Allison Tranny will do great!!!

However consider that the Lightning does not come in 4x4 so if 4x4 is important to you then don't bother. The Lightning has several advantages though like higher resale value, faster and more upgrade potential. However it also has several disadvantages like poor MPG, more maintnence, higher insurance and in most cases higher maintnance costs not to mention it's higher price tag.
If you plan to tow and actually use the truck do yourself a favor and get a HEMI RAM or even a 6.0 powered GMC. Not to mention who would want to get a Lightning all dirty inside after riding quads all day?

I couldn't have said it better except for one thing, the 6.0 powered GMC doesn't have the power of the Hemi and gets worse MPG.
