"Quad Racer 64" is an ATV racing video game for the Nintendo 64 game system. It will feature many available bikes, which will become available by your success in championship mode, earning 2 new bikes for each time you place atleast 3rd overall in each season. Seasons will be presented similar to the late "Excitebike 64", in which it will feature 6 new tracks along with the 2 new bikes for each season you win. to move on to a more difficult season, you have to win. You begin the season with one of the 2 entry level ATVs, which are the Kawasaki Mojave 250 or the Honda 300EX. Bikes which will become available further are the Suzuki Quad Racer 250, Honda TRX250R, Kawasaki Tecate-4, Yamaha Banshee, Honda 400EX, Cannondale FX400, Gas Gas GNU 300, and, for the last round, Suzuki QuadZilla 500 and Bombardier DS 650. Not much further info is available at this time, although we do know that their will be custom tracks available, practice/tutor mode, time trials, 6 different riders, stunts, "the best replay mode ever", wheelies, and approximately 18-24 different tracks. Riders will show an extreme degree of technique and skill, hanging off the side of the ATV on turns(how far? matters on how sharp of turn you try to take), each with their ups and downs. You can put any rider on any bike, but keep their advantages in mind and how they work with the bike. QR64 will evaluate how it all equals out on screen when you select a rider and a bike. The tracks will vary from tight woods XC trails to rugged rocky desert to MX. I suspect the Excitebike 64 team may be behind this, as the controls are very similar. You can hit the Z button(underneath) for turbo, but turbo will be limited and recharged while not in use. you can hit the "R" button to hang off the side and slide the back end throughout a turn. If you take too sharp of a turn without "R", you may roll or accidentally tip. Very realistic. The gameplay was awesome, control perfect, and graphics phenomonal, as the game makes use of the expansion pack. The only thing that sucked was, well, I WOKE UP FROM MY DREAM. Damn! XC too!
