How do you guys with the animated icons make them work. I found some really cool ones but when I resize them to the 60x60 they are no longer animated. What programs do you guys use?????

I've used Adobe ImageReady to make them but there are several programs out there you can use....I'd venture a guess that most people find them somewhere on the web that someone else has made...

Well, ive found some really funny ones on the web that are already animated, but they are too big. So I have to resize them to the 60x60 that is allowed. However, when doing so, they are no longer animated when they get resized I have tried Graphics Workshop as well as they default paint program for Windows XP

Yeah you have to have something that will work with GIF's....the animated ones are a series of images complied by the program to loop, making it move.

Fireworks has a free trial if you interested i doing it yourself. Just open the file and use the export wizard. Thats the easiest way I know.

Never heard of it. I use Macromedia Studio MX to develop Flash mainly but use Fireworks because its shortcuts are built into dreamweaver and flash mx. I have an older version of Photoshop but I think it's too advanced for most people to use it on a non professional level.Does this forum support swf files? I never even checked.
